Salon International 2018

This month Zen Luxury Extensions exhibited at professional hairdressing’s premier event, Salon International, at ExCeL in London Docklands. Now a regular annual feature in the Zen diary, this year’s Salon yet again exceeded the previous year’s target in terms of hair sales, account openings, International enquiries and hair applications on the stand.

Zen’s slightly revised stand was as always 4-sided which allowed all round access for visitors to interact with the Zen team in whatever section they desired. Regular visitors to the show would easily recognise our hair showcase stand at the front, displaying our Pure, Luxury and Ultimate series hair extension ranges along with an additional display of some proposed new colours. Visitors were invited to vote on which they preferred and the results will influence the colour launches in 2019. This is the busiest side to our stand and attracts visitors who just love the quality feel of the Zen Extensions.

If hair was purchased for personal use, visitors were invited to have it applied by one of the Zen hairdressing team on styling station side of the stand. As you can imagine these guys worked flat out for 3 days applying and styling Zen tape and clip in extensions on demand. At some of the busiest times, we enlisted the help of Zen Lead Educator Simon Stainton, to help with applications to cope with the demand.

Zen’s Project and Events Manager Kelly Sainty said, “We were determined to beat last year’s records as we have done year-on-year since launching the Zen brand in the UK. All of the team worked tirelessly over the 3 days and it is testament to everyone involved and the superior quality of the Zen product range, which made Salon 2018 the best yet!”
