Education and training are the cornerstone of the British hairdressing industry and when it comes to a technical product like hair extensions, and the many application methods available, hairdressers need to be fully educated in order to achieve the best results for their clients.
Leading UK brand Zen Luxury Extensions has been training and educating hairdressers on Zen extensions since its UK launch. Zen offer full in-house or in-salon training courses over 1 or 2 days. Zen’s training is headed up by Zen UK Lead Trainer Simon Stainton.
BRIDAL COURSE
Zen’s Bridal Course has seen high demand this year as the demand for extensions in conjunction with bridal hair is growing rapidly, as brides seek to transform their own hair for the big day.
Launched last year, Zen sought the training services of bridal and braiding hairstylist Laura McPhee of VersaStyle. Simon said, “Laura has been using Zen hair extensions for a number of years with her own bridal clients, so knows our brand really well.” He added, “When creating this bridal course to add to our education and training portfolio, Laura was the obvious choice and perfect fit.”
Successful students who undertake and pass any of the Zen training course receive a Zen Certificate displaying all the application methods, and will collect an embossed sticker to attach to the certificate for each application method they pass. This certificate can be displayed in the salon so that clients are reassured that the technician applying their extensions has the most up-to-date training currently available.
Prices 1 Day training courses start from £495 and include up to 4 students. Additional students can be added at £50 per student.*
