January marked a major milestone for Zen Luxury Extensions as we welcomed our global distributor family to London for our first Distributor Conference in over 10 years, and what a weekend it was.
Hosted at the Hilton Canary Wharf, the two-day event brought together Zen Hair distributors from across the world for education, collaboration and open conversation about the future of the hair extensions industry. From the very start, the atmosphere was one of connection, shared purpose and excitement for what lies ahead.
Our Managing Director, Johnny Yip, opened the conference by addressing the realities facing the global extensions market today, including manufacturers selling direct to salons and, more importantly, how Zen is rising to meet those challenges. Distributors were presented with a clear, long-term vision, including an 8–10 year supply plan designed to offer stability, confidence and peace of mind.

Education sat at the heart of the weekend. Live demonstrations showcased new and upcoming innovations including Butterfly Wefts, PU Wefts, 24-inch extensions, wigs and toppers, led by Head of Education Simon Stainton, alongside expert educator Bozena Serek. Delegates also experienced the power of re:BOND professional haircare, learning from leading educator Stephen Eales how its advanced FibreNew™ Technology effectively restores hair compromised by mineral build-up, brassiness and decolourants.

The launch of Zen’s new Order Circle platform gave distributors a first look at a more streamlined, transparent ordering system, while our business development sessions explored new marketing support, shared content resources and future global initiatives designed to help distributors grow alongside the brand.
Perhaps most importantly, the conference created space for genuine dialogue. Distributors shared insights, challenges and successes, helping shape the next chapter of Zen together. Delegate feedback following the event described the weekend as inspiring, collaborative and reassuring, praising the clarity of Zen’s direction, the strength of education and the care shown in every detail, from hospitality to personal touches.
As Johnny Yip shared:
“This weekend wasn’t just about products, it was about people, partnerships and building something sustainable together. Seeing our distributors connect, contribute and leave energised confirmed that Zen’s future is a shared one.”
With exciting developments ahead, this conference was just the beginning. Thank you to every distributor who joined us, we’re incredibly proud of the community we’re building and can’t wait for what’s next.
