Officially launched to more than 250 salon professionals at an exclusive industry event at London’s Wonderworks, the new ADAPTI-SKIN and ADAPTI-WEFT system represents a major evolution in professional hair extensions, delivering a revolutionary application method that protects the client’s natural hair while dramatically reducing fitting, maintenance and removal times.

Rethinking the Traditional Tape-Weft System

Traditional tape-weft extensions rely on adhesive tapes being attached directly to a client’s natural hair. While effective, this means the client’s own hair carries both the adhesive bond and the weight of the extensions.

ADAPTI completely changes this approach.

At the centre of the system is ADAPTI-SKIN – a specially engineered support component that sits between the client’s natural hair and the Luxury Series+ ADAPTI-WEFT.

Rather than attaching adhesive directly to the hair, the adhesive is secured to the ADAPTI-SKIN itself. This allows the ADAPTI-SKIN to support both the bond and the weight of the weft, creating a gentler, more supportive application that has been specifically designed with the health of the client’s natural hair in mind.

The result is a secure, comfortable fit that lies completely flat against the head for an incredibly discreet, natural-looking finish.

A Smarter Way to Customise Every Client

The application process has also been designed to give stylists greater creative flexibility.

The first ADAPTI-WEFT is attached to the ADAPTI-SKIN before being fitted to the client’s hair using a unique butterfly-style attachment. Once secured, the ADAPTI-SKIN folds down to create a discreet platform for a second ADAPTI-WEFT.

This allows professionals to:

• Blend any of the 16 available shades for seamless colour matching.

• Mix 18” and 22” lengths for completely bespoke results.

• Add tailored volume, length or colour using multiple wefts on a single application point.

Maintenance and removal appointments can typically be completed in less than five minutes with regular practice, helping salons increase appointment capacity while giving clients a faster, more comfortable experience. Importantly, this increase in efficiency never comes at the expense of quality.

A Launch that Exceeded Expectations

The official ADAPTI launch welcomed more than 250 salon professionals throughout the day, with guests travelling from across the UK to experience the new system first-hand.

Live demonstrations from Stephen Eales and Zen Educator Shannon Pardoe allowed attendees to see the revolutionary application technique in action before trying it themselves during hands-on sessions.

The response from professionals was overwhelmingly positive, with many guests spending over an hour at the event learning about the system and speaking with the Zen education team.
